Amblyopia, or “lazy eye”, is often thought to be solely a disorder of the eyes. It is characterized by poor or blurry vision in an eye that is otherwise physically healthy. The problem is due to either no or poor transmission of the visual image to the brain for a sustained period during early childhood. In fact, it is a brain problem, not an eye problem. Recent research has shown that Vision Therapy can improve visual acuity in children and adult amblyopes. Now, using modern technology, amblyopia can be easily eliminated.
